Red Crescent to send emergency aid to Iran
Aid equipment was prepared rapidly and urgent health equipment will be sent by a cargo plane provided by General Staff Headquarters and remaining equipment will be sent by highway upon the directions of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan tonight.
According to statement, six trucks carrying tent, blanket, food, generator, kitchen sets and other aid equipment that were demanded by
Iranian Red Crescent would leave for the region by highway tonight.
HEALTH MINISTRY SENDS HEALTH TEAM AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO IRAN
Health Ministry also sent on Friday a health team comprising of 30 people and medical equipment to Iran.
Health Minister Recep Akdag said that the team was comprising of 14 doctors, 12 health personnel, three environment health technicians and a medical technolog.
Akdag said that if Iran demanded, they could also send health teams
waiting on alert in northwestern Kocaeli province.
Noting that health team was formed by volunteers, Akdag said that medical aid packages were also sent to Iran.
