Red Crescent convoy reaches Duhok

Halil Altınkaya, who heads the convoy told journalists that "we bring aid to our Iraqi brothers. We passed Iraq from Habur border gate this morning, and we didn’t face any problems. The Iraqi Red Crescent team welcomed us in the border gate."

Altınkaya said that the convoy going to Baghdad continued its way, adding that "we will distribute the materials to people who need that in an organized way with the Iraqi Red Crescent."

Peshmergas ensure the safety of the transportation of the convoy which is composed of six big and two small trucks.
