Rahul said to India Forums, “I have turned down the offer even though it was a very lucrative deal. But for me, the country always comes first. If a nation disrespects our country, I don’t feel right going there. What goes against India goes against me too. That’s why I decided not to perform in Turkey. Jai Hind.”

Rahul’s bold stance has sparked conversations with many people praising him for prioritizing national pride over a large paycheck. His refusal has been seen as a clear message that he stands firmly with India, especially during sensitive political situations.

Meanwhile, on a lighter note, Rahul also shared an update on his social media about being unblocked by Virat Kohli.
