Putin Calls Kyrgyz Revolution ‘Illegal’

Putin added, though, that Russia would have good relations with the new government when it is formed.

He gave a press briefing in the Armenian capital Yerivan, saying that it is sad to see problems in a former Soviet republic being solved illegally and through human rights violations and mass protests. In his statement, Putin also expressed his hope for "good relations" with the new government and stressed that he knows ‘very well’ those who have taken control of Kyrgyzstan.
