Proposal date will become clear next week

As the matter of sending Turkish troops to Iraq heats up, all eyes have turned to the National Security Council (MGK) meeting on Friday, August 22.

MGK is expected to examine the US reply to Turkey’s questionnaire about serving in Iraq and after the Cabinet meeting early next week, the date to call an emergency parliamentary session will become clear.
