PM’s Cyprus policy is not Turkey’s foreign policy

ANKARA (AA) – The opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) deputy Haluk Koc said today of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Cyprus policy that his evaluations do not reflect Turkey’s foreign policy followed for many years.

“Turkey will enter European Union despite Erdogan’s Cyprus policy. Turkey will become an EU member despite the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Foreign Minister,” Koc said.

Responding to a question on excluding a woman wearing a headscarve from the court, Koc said, “This shows that Turkish Republic laws are being implemented in the public area.”
