Ortega signs with Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia

The 28-year-old Ortega, who last week parted ways with leading Turkish club Fenerbahce, previously played for River Plate and Italian clubs Sampdoria and Parma, and was a mainstay in Argentina´s midfield during the 1998 and 2002 World Cups.
The Argentinian is expected to debut for league leaders Al-Ittihad, which also has former West Ham and Liverpool striker Titi Camara on their books, on Friday.
