Number of Greek tourists visiting Turkey increases

Demirtas said that the number of Greek tourists visiting Turkey increased 43 percent as of end of September, 2003 when compared with same period of last year.

Noting that the number of tourists who visited Turkey increased 2,7 percent as of September, 2003, Demirtas said that the number of Greek tourists visiting Turkey rose from 196 thousand to 283 thousand with an increase of 43 percent.

Demirtas said that a total of 10 million 902 thousand tourists visited Turkey in the end of September and he added that the number of tourists visiting Turkey would exceed 14 million as of December, 2003.
