NSC to convene over Cyprus today
ANKARA (AA) – National Security Council (NSC) meeting, chaired by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, has convened at Cankaya Palace at 13.30 p.m.
Turkey’s new approach over the Cyprus issue under Annan Plan will be cleared today at today’s NSC meeting.
The disagreements between the Foreign Affairs and the General Staff on Cyprus problem are also expected to be recovered.
Besides Cyprus, the interior and other foreign affairs developments are expected to be evaluated in the meeting.
Following the NSC meeting, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to be leave for Switzerland’s Davos to attend the World Economic Forum meetings.
