No govt yet, TRNC leaders have different statements
LEFKOSA (AA) – National Unity Party (UBP) leader Dervis Eroglu said today that four-part government was also an alternative and it had to be evaluated.
While the work on forming new government following December 14’s election in Turkish Cyprus, Dervis stated that if the other political parties would welcome the possibility of four-part government then they could bargain on it.
He added that his party would consider four part government offered by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas. He stressed that if he was charged with forming government, then he could offer this alternative to the other political party leaders.
