No changes in Greek Cypriots’ intentions

TASKENT (AA) – Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas said today that for 40 years he had been negotiating with Greek Cypriots but during the process, their opinions never changed.

Releasing a statement at anniversary of Cyprus Peace Action’s second part, Denktas stated that he shared martries pains and added, "If a person doesn’t know whom live with, this situation can appear. AS we thought of this, we say that Greek Cypriots’ opinions never changed. For 40 years, I seeked an evidence of changes in Greek Cypriot’s view, but I couldn’t find."

Denktas stressed that they couldn’t make the south two separate states on the island and partnership had been removed due to the reason of only one society in Cyprus.

He reproached that his people called him enemy of peace and if the EU continued its support to Greek Cypriots, they could do the same badness to Turkish Cypriots.
