Turkey Close to Passing Crypto Legislation to Be Removed From the FATF’s ‘Grey List’

Turkey is in the final stage of bringing crypto legislation to its parliament in order to be removed from the FATF’s “grey list.” The country has complied with 39 out of 40 FATF standards and is now focusing on addressing the remaining requirement related to crypto assets. Once the legislation is passed, Turkey expects to be taken off the list, per the country’s finance minister.
