New winter Portugal to Turkey route

The biweekly service will start on November 5.

According to a press release, this new route between Izmir and Porto will be operated on Boeing 737 aircraft, with fares starting at €99.99 for a round-trip flight, according to Publituris.

SunExpress explains that “fares are offered in a package format so they can be tailored to different customer needs, providing more options and the potential for greater savings.”

The new route will connect Porto to Izmir, a destination that, according to SunExpress, “is a lively Aegean city with a laid-back charm, offering a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty,” right on the Turkish Riviera.

In Izmir, tourists can also visit Ephesus, an ancient Greek city whose ruins attract thousands of visitors each year and which is also close to the House of the Virgin Mary.
