NASA’s Space Adventure exhibition opens in southeastern Turkiye

GAZIANTEP, Turkiye

NASA’s Space Adventure exhibition on Saturday opened in Turkiye’s southeastern Gaziantep province.

The exhibition, previously hosted in different countries, reflects more than 50 years of space studies and has hosted around 4 million visitors from 12 countries in four years.

The exhibition, which hosts more than 200 artifacts, including life-size artifacts that have witnessed NASA space missions, features special pieces from outer space and dozens of high-tech space instruments that allow visitors to experience life there.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge for 4 months.

Omer Ileri, an official from Turkiye’s Justice and Development (AK) Party, said his country is going through a serious digital transformation.

“We all know that the future is in space. Turkiye is doing very well at this point. Two Turkish satellites were launched last year, we are one of the rare countries that launched two satellites in the same year,” he said.
