Moderate Earthquake In Izmir Province
The quake was felt in Karsiyaka, Buca, Bornova and Gaziemir townships.
Two aftershock measuring 3.3 and 3.5 on the Richter scale were recorded at 1.54 a.m. and 2.44 a.m.
Meanwhile, a number of tremors measuring under 3 have been continuing to jolt the province.
On April 10, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale occurred in Izmir.
More than 125 aftershocks have been recorded in Izmir since April 10.
Today’s earthquake sent residents out to the streets in panic.
Most of the residents spent the night in the streets.
