Miniaturk Ceremony Celebrates Conquest of Istanbul

During his speech, Governor Guler stated that the Miniaturk project will convey historical works to many future generations. Guler said: "We conquered Istanbul 550 years ago and Anatolia 1000 years ago with our own blood. For 1000 years, we have kept both these inheritances alive through our culture, art, scientists and heart." Students and other citizens were enthusiastic in their interactions with Guler and Gurtuna, who later completed a full tour of the park.
