Love, Not Money, Is Legal Tender in New Milas Bazaar

Area governor Hulusi Dogan, pointing out that through the bazaar they have attracted the attention of charitable people who want to help others, said, "No money is required in this bazaar — only love."

While Dogan was showing members of the press around the bazaar, a woman with one arm entered the area. The woman, Nurten Koc, told the governor that she couldn’t wash clothes because she was missing an arm, upon which Dogan provided the woman with a washing machine. Thanking the governor, Koc said that for years she hadn’t been able to afford such an expensive appliance.
