Libya to Pay Damages for 18 year Old Incident

Libyan Ambassador to Berlin, Said Abdulaati, said yesterday that the Libyan government, as the result of an agreement with the Germans, would pay $35 million dollars to the Germans wounded in the attack.

Abdulaati said the agreement did not include the two dead Americans.

German Government Spokesperson, Bela Anda, confirmed the settlement.

Additionally, Anda said that German Prime Minister, Gerhard Schröeder, accepted Mohammed Qaddafi’s written invitation to visit Libya.

A time will be determined after the meetings are held.
