Let Turkey in

The global war on terrorism turned a corner last week, as Turkey became one of its major targets.

What this means about the terrorists themselves may be novel elsewhere, but not in Israel. Here, the indiscriminate manner with which Islamist fanaticism targets innocent people has been so frequently experienced that a broad consensus has formed regarding the need to fight terrorism tooth and nail. Elsewhere, particularly in Europe, whether due to ideology or denial, this notion has yet to take root.
