The deployment took place just 150 meters away from the Beau Rivage Hotel where the Syrian main intelligence units are located. The deployment occurred just a few hours ahead of the Syrian President Bessar Asad’s national assembly speech today where it is expected he will announce the withdrawal of troops from Lebanon.
