La Tribune: Polish support of Turkey in the EU

Other issues weigh heavily. Like history, so dear to the Poles. The two countries have had diplomatic relations for six centuries; both resisted Russian imperialism; Turkey alone refused to recognize the partition of Poland at the end of the 18th century. Then there’s politics: Ankara firmly supported Poland’s entry into NATO.
