Kosovo Prime Minister Resigns

Holding a press conference, the Kosovan Prime Minister informed that he had received a notice of crime sent by the Court and he decided to go to The Hague immediately. Haradinay confirmed his innocence and said he will clear his and Kosovo’s name at the trial.

He confirmed the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister Adem Salihu to the position of Acting Prime Minister. Salihu said, "We, as the government, are saddened by the accusation against Haradinay. We’ll continue to work towards the independence of Kosovo. I believe that Haradinay will prove his innocence at The Hague."

The Kosovan Prime Minister is expected to leave for The Hague tomorrow
