Kidnapped Turkish engineer taken to Pakistan

"We ascertained that Salih Aksoy was abducted and taken to Pakistan by Taliban commander Mullah Sabir for ransom." told reporters Afghan Brigadier Haji Sayfullah . "I absolutely know Turkish engineers were abducted by Taliban for ransom. We are taking measures required to prevent such incidents. However, businessmen and engineers must obey the security rules as well." added Sayfullah.
Afghan deputy Dr. Esedullah Himmetyar told that Salih Aksoy was still claimed to be alive and there was no possibility of an attack against him. "We would pick up news from our sources if he were killed. We assume that he was kidnapped for ransom. We wish he will be freed soon." he added.
