Kazakh oil to be transported by tanker to Baku-Ceyhan
According to the report, Kazakh oil will be transported via tanker to the port of Baku until the pipeline between Aktau and Baku has been completed. Scientists and researchers will reportedly be sent to the region to conduct research for countries claiming that the pipeline running under the Caspian Sea will affect the enviroment and the ecological balance of the area.
Kazakh officials said the oil tankers are currently being constructed by a neighboring country and that they will eventually transport oil produced in the ports of Aktau and Kashgane until completion of the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline.
