Karmod completes construction of modular office building for logistics firm in Hungary
ISTANBUL
Turkish modular building manufacturer Karmod has completed the construction and delivery of a container office building for a logistics company in Budapest, Hungary, the company announced on Wednesday.
The Budapest project, a three-story, 222-square-meter (2,390-square-foot) office structure, was constructed utilizing 15 modular container units, according to Muzaffer Erguclu, Karmod’s European sales coordinator.
“Special motorized shutter systems for the office were manufactured in Türkiye and shipped along with the container units in two trucks to Hungary. Our two-person assembly team completed the installation in just 23 days, making the building ready for use by the logistics firm,” Erguclu added.
He emphasized the sustainability and energy efficiency of Karmod’s steel-frame container buildings, noting that their insulation properties are designed to meet European climate standards.
“Our containers are made from fully recyclable steel components, including the base and upper chassis, support columns, roof, wall, and door panels. The rock wool insulation materials we use between the panels ensure superior thermal performance,” Erguclu said.
“The insulated wall and roof panels, double-glazed windows, and specially insulated doors help regulate the building’s internal climate, ensuring minimal energy consumption, even during the coldest winter days,” he added.
