Japan to Receive Turkish PM Erdogan in April

‘Turkish language’ activities in Japan are bringing the two countries closer togheter, but it will be economic and cultural agreements that will top the agenda during Erdogan’s April visit. Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul visited Japan in December. Meanwhile Turkish Parliamentary Japan Friendship Group President and members will go to Tokyo soon to have some meetings.

On another note, while the Japanese government is waiting for Erdogan’s official visit, a politically tense atmosphere has developed in the country in light of its decision to send Japanese troops to Iraq.
