Itar-Tass: Akayev Signs Resignation
The Russian Itar Tass news agency quotes an unnamed Kyrgyz official and supporter of the opposition that Akayev has resigned.
The Interfax news agency, meanwhile, reported that Akayev had left for Russia earlier today, also based on an anonymous source.
