Israeli strikes in Beirut as Hezbollah launches drones at Israel

Clouds of smoke rose over Beirut’s southern suburbs as Israel escalated its bombardment of the Lebanese capital, saying it is striking “Hezbollah-controlled areas”. Al Jazeera’s Heidi Pett is there and says thousands of people have been displaced after Israel’s new forced evacuation orders.
