Israeli forces attack children in West Bank
Correspondents reported that the Israeli soldiers repeatedly raided different parts in Nablus over the past couple of days. They added that Israeli troops closed the Tal checkpoint, southwest of Nablus.
Also Sunday, Israeli occupation troops sealed off the entrance of the Tamoun village in the West bank city of Tubas and stationed many military roadblocks in the area.
Israeli forces also established checkpoints in different parts of the Betehlahem City, mainly its eastern entrance, witnesses said.
The Israeli army has been trying to cut the roads that connect between Bethlehem and Beit Sahour town over the past week, preventing Palestinians from moving in the main roads between northern and southern parts of the West Bank, the sources said.
Witnesses also said on Sunday that Israeli troops attacked the house of a Palestinian- who is being detained in an Israeli jail- in the West Bank city of Hebron.
The blast caused severe damage to nearby houses and shocked children, sources said, without saying why Alaa Kateesha, the Palestinian prisoner, is jailed at Kremseema area in Hebron.
Meanwhile, medical sources said a 14-year old Palestinian boy was injured by several bullets in the abdomen, hand and leg and was in a serious condition after Israeli troops raided the Aseera Al Shamaleya village in the West Bank. Another boy was also wounded Saturday night in the same town.
Elsewhere, Palestinian medics reported that a 4-year-old Palestinian girl, identified as Shaima’ Abu Shamala, was in serious condition after she was shot at by the Israeli soldiers on Saturday in the Rafah refugee camp.
