Israel Police Ban Jews from Masjid Al-Haram Al-Sherif

A police source said that a considerable amount of security forces have been deployed to the old city section of Jerusalem to enforce the decision.

The police and the interior security service, Sin Bet, are concerned about a possible bomb, in the form of an unmanned airplane, crashing into the Muslim crowd.

The Israel Security Minister, Tzahi Hanegbi, said that a clash of fundamentalist Jews in Al-Haram is likely.

A fundamental Jewish group called "The followers of Al-Haram Al-Sherif" asked the police to enter the Holy land and lay the six-ton, first stone of "The third temple."

"Al-Haram Al-Sherif followers", led by Yehuda Etzion, wish to construct "a third temple" by destroying first the Masjid Al-Aqsa and Imam Omar Mosques.
