Iraq: Children still dying due to medical lack

Touching on that Iraqi hospitals need all kind of humanitarian aids, physicians claimed that UN decision about withdrawling its staff from Iraq would cause decrease in medical aids to the country.
Ali Hafi, a doctor serving at al-Ulviye Children Hospital, said, "our hospital cannot sufficiently serve though re-construction works with contribution of UN and other international aid organizations. Because there is serious lack of medical equipment and drug. And also, right now there is not enough bed in the hospital to serve the number of people. We take care of aproximately 150 children in a day. Besides, we face a great number of undiagnosed cases over the post-war era. Everyday, new disases spring up. Those might occur in result of nuclear and chemical pollution. We exert great efforts but it is not enough. We need all kind of humanitarian aids from accros the world."
