Iranian envoy holds talks with PM Erdogan

It has indeed been widely believed among some in the media circles that Eminzade, who came to Turkey early on Thursday, delivered a message to Prime Minister Erdogan about the International Imam Khomeini Airport, which created tension between Ankara and Tehran few weeks ago.

Iran had given the operation rights of the airport to a Turkish consortium, but announced lately that Iran would get back the rights from the Turkish firm. This caused tension between the two governments. It is believed that Iran is now trying to iron out the issue with the Turkish government, but that there was no development on the issue after the talks.
