Iran: Turkisk PM Erdogan’s visit is welcomed

TEHRAN (AA) – Iranian Commerce Minister Mohammad Shariat-Madari said on Wednesday that development of relations with Turkey was basic policy of Iranian administration and Iran aimed to develop economic relations with Turkey by depending on this principle and by using its own potential.

Madari said that it was important to diversify commercial goods, increase border trade and make preferential trade to increase trade between Turkey and Iran.

Noting that Turkey made more cooperation with Iran in transportation, industry and commerce fields, Madari said that natural gas export of Iran to Turkey had a strategical importance and added that export of Iranian natural gas to Europe via Turkey would support peace and friendship in the region.
