In April, Russia increases tenfold plywood exports to Turkey

In April 2023, the volume of plywood exports from Russia to Turkey increased tenfold compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. According to Lesprom Analytics, the average price of Russian plywood increased by 1.2% compared to the March level, but it is still 20% lower than a year ago.

In April, Russia increased its share in the Turkish imported plywood market by 45 percentage points to 67%. The total plywood import to Turkey tripled in April.
