IHD members protest NATO

Criticizing the security measures taken for the summit, Sener said: "It violates human rights to turn Istanbul, where more than 10 million people live, into a semi-open prison because of the summit. As human rights defenders, we are against NATO."

Protestors carried banners and organized a 5-minute sit-in after the speech.
