"If Turkish troops come, we can go home"
From many aspects, US army greeted warmly Turkish military presence in Iraq and they explained their opinions about Turks’ mission in the region.
US troops stressed that they needed other countries’ soldiers and Turkish army’s expreince could make the resolution of the problems easier.
Most of the troops added that the Turkish army could play a key role in rebuilding of Iraq and for they were Muslims, Turkish soldiers could have better ties and relations with Iraqi people.
