Gul: Annan Plan to be the basis in Cyprus

Hosting the Ambassadors of EU member and candidate countries at a lunch in Ankara, Gul said that EU countries could send observers to the Turkish Cypriot elections and talks towards a settlement in the island, could be resumed after these elections.

He added that the customs union agreement signed with TRNC will not be brought down to Parliament in the short run.
