Grozny: Chechens crush Russian military convoy

Russian troops used machine guns to wipe out Chechen fighters when their convoy came under heavy fire in the wooded mountain area. All Russian soldiers, who were stuck in military tanks, were killed in the exchange of fire. After the ambush, Chechen fighters seized military equipments and burned military vehicles before leaving the area.
