Greeks hopeful of TRNC opposition to agree on Annan Plan

NICOSIA (AA) – Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos claimed today that there would not be any agreement with Turkish Republic of Northern Cprus President Rauf Denktas adding that he is hopeful about an agreement on the Annan Plan with the Turkish Cypriot opposition.

Blaiming Denktas for disagreement between the Greek and the Turkish Cyprus, Papadopoulos said, “There is not much possibility to reach an agreement with the Turkish Cypriot leader before May 2004.” Papadopoulos said that he is hopeful to reach an agreement with the Turkish Cypriot opposition party on the Annan Plan.
