Greek side rejects to sign "Document of intent"

The Greek Cypriot spokesman Kipros Hrisostomidis said on Friday that they wouldn’t sign a document that predicting to approve a final settlement which would be presented by UN’s special Cyprus envoy Alvara de Soto to the sides in Burgenstock.

Hirsostimidis said that UN’s offer was not in accord with the New York settlement.

NTV reported that, guarantor countries Turkey, Greece and Britain were asked to sign an agreement that they would recognize the result of a referendum on the island and they would guarantee the new order which would be established in the island.

The document that de Soto will present to the sides is in the form of a package which will secure a reached agreement to be implemented on the island.
