"Greek side also should help solution of Cyprus issue"

LEFKOSA (AA) – Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said on Friday that a solution to Cyprus issue could not be reached only by contributions of Turkey and the TRNC and stated that Greek Cypriot side, Greece, the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (U.N.) should make contributions to the issue as much as their contributions.

Stating that they were going through a period during which important developments would take place, Denktas said that Republican Turkish Party (CTP)-Democrat Party (DP) coalition government was formed under the name of ‘social compromise and solution government’.

"A solution to the issue cannot be reached only by contributions of TRNC and Turkey," Denktas noted and added, Greek Cypriot side, Greece, the EU and the U.N. should make contribution to the issue as much as Turkish Cypriot side’s and Turkey’s contributions to reach a solution.
