Greek Cypriot Politicians, Church Oppose Overnight Stays in TRNC

According to daily Fileleftheros, Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Chrysostomos said, "Eating, drinking and enjoying [one’s self] in the area under TRNC occupation is unbelievable," but added, "The behavior of those Greek Cypriots who crossed over into territory under the occupation of the TRNC with the desire of seeing their ancestors’ homes is acceptable." Chrysostomos said it was completely unbelievable that people would go to casinos to have a good time and stay in hotels that are claimed to belong to Greek Cypriots.
