Gochan: Turkey should benefit from tourism

Noting that the support for tourism in Turkey was not enough, Gochan said that this problem should be solved first, adding that incentives for tourism were utilized in other fields and this damaged the sector.
"There is a rise in sports tourism and Turkey should benefit from this as well," said Gochan, adding: "Turkey should organize a range of activities for different age groups and it is important to prepare experienced sportsmen from now."

Noting that Turkey was just like paradise for foreigners, Gochan said that museums were considerably cheap, despite this, Turkey could not have the expected tourist number.

TV serials contribute to tourism in Turkey
Gochan said that a number of TV serials such as "Asmali Konak in Cappadocia, Kinali Kar in Bursa and Zerda in Gaziantep" highly contributed to tourism in Turkey, adding that travel agents were racing to organize tours to these regions.
