Frightening Afghanistan Report
The unofficial U.S. demand from Turkey for troops was confirmed by P.M. Recep Tayyip Erdogan last week. This demand will reportedly become official at the NATO summit in June.
The daily called attention that Afghanistan was a victim of war forgotten by the world. The daiy said; P.M. Tony Blair said at the beginning of war; we had to be sure that we have attained the result. However the report says the opposite of that. Members of Foreign Relations Commission said; Afghanistan is a forgotten country.
According to the report, the Commission members called on for taking emergency measures and warned that the indifference of the West should not drag Afghanistan into a chaos. The report said that U.S. had just focused on catching Osama Bin Laden.
The President of the Afghanistan’s Interim Administration Hamid Karzai was reportedly compelled to hold elections in September with the order and pressure of U.S. That this pressure stemmed from the desire of Bush on showing how democracy was settled in Afghanistan, was emphasized in the report.
