France Begins Turban Ban Calmly

Even the French Islam Associations Federation that reacted fiercely to the turban ban, had condemned the abduction of the two journalists because of the ban and had called on girl students to obey the ban.

While French Foreign Minister Michel Barnier is touring the region for the release of the journalists, the French Moslem Council CFCM arrived in Baghdad and urged the hostage-takers to set the journalists free.
