Football Tourism Booms Up in Turkey

Antalya, TURKEY, December 05, 2003 – Football tourism is being enlivened, with nearly 600 teams expected to hold training camps in Antalya. Tourism agencies say this number will increase to 900 by the end of the season. Among the big teams who have booked are PSV Eindhoven and Ajax from The Netherlands, Clup Brugge from Belgium. Germany’s Shalke 04 had booked earlier before cancelling.
