Fiat Cooperates with Microsoft

The contract is the largest partnership ever for Microsoft, a company that has been conducting research and development studies in order to enter the automotive market for the past eight years. With the new cable-free system from Microsoft, Fiat, Alfa Romero, and Lancia drivers will be able to communicate with their cell phones by connecting to the internet via Bluetooth without getting out of the car. All cars made by Fiat will be installed with the system that works with Microsoft Windows Automotive software. In addition, drivers will be able to play digital music content via USB connections in their cars.
