Felluce Operation Starts

American troops entered the city from the west, took two bridges on the Euphrates River and captured a Fallujah hospital.

Before the operations began, the Iraqi Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi held a pres conference where he consented to the start of the operations, giving full authority to American Iraqi security forces to conduct the attacks.
