Dr. Muller underlined that, in reality, Islamic societies are not fundamentalist and are not an enemy to the West but are not perceived that way.

He also made the determination that, except for some intellectuals in Europe, a mentality left over from the Crusades still governs most people’s perception on Islam.

Dr. Muller concluded that this situation causes people to fear Islam and not see the positive improvements in the Muslim world.
