European Union Prepares a Cyprus Package as Well

Speaking at the press briefing yesterday, Filori stated that 15 million euros aid would be provided to the Island in order to draw the two sides closer economically. Stating the second measure would make easier for the products in north to enter EU market, Filori refrained to give the details of the package. EU has announced that it had been working on the package for a while.

Stating TRNC products would enter EU market more easily, upon a question that how the resource problem would be overcome in the common market, Filori replied: ‘We are still working on the details. These are the outlines of the plan. Give us time for the details."
